Wipe AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website wipeai.cloud and the Remover video processing service (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a) Account Information. When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store your email address and a display name in our database to identify your account.

b) Usage Data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including the number of tokens consumed, videos processed, timestamps of activity, and pages visited. This data is used to operate your account and improve the Service.

c) Payment Information. When you purchase credits or a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. Stripe shares with us only the information needed to fulfill your purchase (e.g., last 4 digits, billing country, transaction ID).

d) Video Files. Videos you upload are transmitted securely to our cloud processing servers. They are used exclusively to perform the requested AI processing and are permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours of job completion. We do not analyze, sell, or share the content of your videos.

e) Technical & Log Data. We automatically collect standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages accessed. This information is used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and analytics.

f) Cookies & Local Storage. We use browser cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
To process your videos and deliver results
To manage your credit/token balance and process payments
To send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account security alerts)
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We share limited data with the following trusted third parties to operate the Service:

Google (OAuth 2.0) – Authentication. Google Privacy Policy
Supabase – Database hosting and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored on servers in the United States. Supabase Privacy Policy

Vercel – Website hosting and global content delivery. Vercel Privacy Policy
Modal Labs – GPU cloud computing for video processing jobs. Videos are processed ephemerally and not retained. Modal Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

Account data (name, email, token balance) is retained for as long as your account is active.
Uploaded videos are deleted from processing servers within 24 hours of job completion.
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
Log data is retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We use industry-standard measures including:

HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
Row-Level Security (RLS) policies in our database — your data is only accessible by you
Encrypted secrets management for API keys and credentials
Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based globally and our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, Modal) may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction – Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion – Request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will fulfill valid deletion requests within 30 days.
Portability – Request your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection – Object to certain types of processing (e.g., analytics).
Withdraw Consent – Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
